Our corsets are designed to be worn with a 2-inch lacing gap at the back. Sizes 8 and 10 provide a 2-inch waist reduction; sizes 12, 14 and 16 provide a 3-inch reduction.

Finished corset waist measurements:

• Size 8: 22 inches
• Size 10: 24 inches
• Size 12: 25 inches
• Size 14: 27 inches
• Size 16: 29 inches

Made-to-measure measurements

Made-to-measure corsets are made from the measurements you provide. Please send the following measurements and tell us your desired waist reduction.

1. Underbust measurement.
2. Underbust-to-waist measurement.
3. Your actual waist measurement.
4. Your desired waist reduction or desired finished corset waist measurement. The finished corset waist measurement excludes the 2-inch lacing gap. For a 24-inch waist when worn with that gap, request a 22-inch finished corset waist. Please confirm both measurements when ordering.
5. Your high hip measurement, 3 inches below your waist.
6. Your mid hip measurement, 5 inches below your waist.

For overbust corsets, we recommend bespoke fitting. Underbust corsets generally don’t require the same level of fitting precision, so a standard size or made-to-measure option is usually a good fit. If you’re unsure which to choose, speak to Jules for guidance.

We line our corsets with premium Bemberg cupro taffeta, our first choice for leather garments. We previously used silk, but found it did not last the lifetime of the leather. We chose Bemberg cupro, a premium tailoring lining and the finest choice for our leather garments, for its lasting durability: a lining designed to stay with the garment throughout its life.

Smooth against skin and base layers, it helps reduce friction, bunching and drag. Breathable and moisture-managing, it offers comfort with reduced static cling and quiet movement without rustle. Its fine, stable taffeta weave adds very little bulk, making it particularly well suited to leather.

Plain Black Leather Orders (Standard Sizes Only)
Every single piece we make is handcrafted to order—we do not hold a warehouse of pre-made stock. However, if your plain black, standard-sized item doesn't fit, we will happily accommodate a size swap.

• The Remake: We will hand-make you a replacement size entirely free of charge, or issue a full studio credit note if you prefer.
• Keep It Straightforward: The free remake applies strictly to a straight size swap (e.g., swapping a standard Medium for a standard Large). You cannot add custom measurements, design alterations, or "Special Instructions" to a remake. Any alteration to the pattern itself automatically classifies the piece as personalized.
• Postage: You are responsible for the postage costs to return the original item to our studio, as well as the shipping fees for the new remake.

Coloured, White, & Personalised Items (Strictly Final Sale)

• No Returns or Remakes: All white, coloured, or black perforated leather underwear items are strictly Final Sale.
• Personalised Orders: If you filled out the Special Instructions box at checkout or emailed us custom sizing/design requests on your original order, your item is classified as personalized and is completely ineligible for a return or remake.

Strict Hygiene Regulations for Intimate Wear
Due to the intimate nature of these garments, we enforce a zero-tolerance hygiene policy to protect our workshop:

• Fit Checks: You must wear clean undergarments underneath the piece when trying it on for size.
• Condition: To qualify for a plain black remake, the returned item must be completely unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and entirely free of bodily fluids, stains, marks, cosmetic marks, perfumes, or odours.
• Refusal Rights: If an item arrives at our studio failing any of these standards, the remake will be cancelled, no credit will be issued, and the item will be sent back to you at your expense.

International Returns (Outside the UK)
You are fully responsible for all return shipping and outward postage costs. The package must be clearly labeled: "UK RETURN — GOODS RETURNING TO MANUFACTURER" with a declared commercial value of exactly £5. Incorrectly labeled packages will be rejected at the UK border and returned to you by the courier.
