Privacy and Confidentiality
Lux Tenebrae makes your privacy a priority.
We only use the personal information you give us to process your order, we do not follow up orders with further mailings and we never give customers' details to anyone else.
Items with customs declarations will be labeled as 'Clothing' with the value marked on the outside.
Everything is sent in unmarked plain wrapping with Lux 5/BS16 6DW/UK as the return address.
No invoices are included in the packaging.
Canceling or Amending an Order
If you've accidentally placed an order or just changed your mind, don't worry. You can cancel or amend any order via email or phone right up to the point we are ready to start work on it.
For bespoke small items such as thongs this may be just a day or two, with larger items such as corsets and dresses this could be a couple of weeks.
Contact us as soon as you can and we can discuss the available options.
In the case of cancellation before we have begun work on an order we will give you a full refund, including any P&P.
Under UK law, we don't have to accept cancellations of bespoke fitting items once we have started work on your order. However, we find it easier to charge for the work done @£30 per hour plus materials. We will then refund you the difference between this and your original payment .
If you have not supplied us any measurements within twelve months of your order, we will then supply you with a Lux Tenebrae Gift Token for the amount purchased (see Gift Voucher terms and Conditions set out below)
Returns, Refunds and Repairs
Your satisfaction is our aim, so if you have a problem with a Lux item or order then do contact us. We will always do our utmost to help you now and in the years to come. However, we can't help you in cases of misuse or abuse of the product or normal wear and tear including stretching or damages such as abrasion, scratches, fading, scuffs, watermarks or indentations.
If we determine that a repair is not due to faulty goods or workmanship, we will send you an estimate for the cost of repairing your product. You can then contact us to authorise the repair or ask us to return the product without repairing it. No repairs will be made without your approval.
Alterations
Lux Tenebrae will complete all reasonable alterations to provide a well fitted garment, but hold the right to refuse alterations if they consider the garment to fit appropriately.
Customers providing their own measurements through the Lux Tenebrae website will be entirely liable for all alteration costs.
Customers ordering using measurements taken by a Lux Tenebrae corsetiere will not incur any alteration costs, unless the alteration is directly related to a change in order requirement from the Customer, or is directly related to customer weight loss or gain since the measurements were taken and after the final fitting is agreed. The measurements taken by a Lux Tenebrae corsetiere must not be changed without confirmation from Lux Tenebrae, otherwise the Customer will be liable for any associated alteration costs.
Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions
1. Gift certificates must be redeemed at our website, toward the purchase of products listed in Lux Tenebrae.com's online catalogue,but excludes all Fabulously Fetish footwear.
2. The gift certificate cannot be used to pay for Luxtenebrae.com gift certificates.
3. The gift certificate has a cash redemption value of 0.001p and is not transferable or assignable.
4. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift certificate account.
5. If the order exceeds the amount of the gift certificate, the balance must be paid by credit or debit card, cash or Paypal.
6. Gift certificates and unused portions of gift certificates expire one year from the date of issue, where permissible under applicable law.
7. Normal Lux Tenebrae.com terms and conditions of purchase apply.
Since each item is made to specific customer requirements we can not accept returns or give refunds for items other than faulty items, once an item has been dispatched.
Governing Law
This Agreement and any contract for the purchase of goods shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of England and Wales.
