We only use the personal information you give us to process your order, we do not follow up orders with further mailings and we never give customers' details to anyone else.
Items with customs declarations will be labeled as 'Clothing' with the value marked on the outside.
Everything is sent in unmarked plain wrapping with Lux 5/BS16 6DW/UK as the return address.
No invoices are included in the packaging.
If you've accidentally placed an order or just changed your mind, don't worry. You can cancel or amend any order via email or phone right up to the point we are ready to start work on it.
For bespoke small items such as thongs this may be just a day or two, with larger items such as corsets and dresses this could be a couple of weeks.
Contact us as soon as you can and we can discuss the available options.
In the case of cancellation before we have begun work on an order we will give you a full refund, including any P&P.
Under UK law, we don't have to accept cancellations of bespoke fitting items once we have started work on your order. However, we find it easier to charge for the work done @£30 per hour plus materials. We will then refund you the difference between this and your original payment .
If you have not supplied us any measurements within three months of your order, we will consider the order cancelled and supply you with a Lux Tenebrae Gift Token for the amount paid. (see Gift Voucher terms and Conditions set out below)
We want you to be delighted. In fact, if you order anything from us and you're not entirely enchanted by it's loveliness then, send it straight back and we'll give you a full refund, no questions asked, 100% money back for your peace of mindOr, if you prefer, we'll make you a new one. We'll always sort it out straight away and even if it's your slip up, we can often put things right at no extra expense. We want you to have a perfectly fitting Lux item and keep coming back for more, one of the ways we do that is by making sure you're happy and inspiring your trust in us.
However, we can't help you in cases of misuse or abuse of the product or normal wear and tear including stretching or damages such as abrasion, scratches, fading, scuffs, watermarks or indentations.
If we determine that a repair is not due to faulty goods or workmanship, we will send you an estimate for the cost of repairing your product. No repairs will be made without your approval.
Some clients change shape after their measurements were taken or after the final fitting is agreed. It's really common so to help we try and have as little time as possible between final fitting and finished garment, and we keep a record of all measurements and the final fittings stay in the studio until we hear back from you that your item is perfect. However, it still happens that people gain or lose significant inches within a week.
It's important for you to remember that what you are buying from us will be exactly the same as your supplied measurements or final fitting. If you find the final piece no longer fits you, yet it is exactly to the supplied measurements or within 4mm of your final fitting, and you wish us to alter the item, then we will have to charge you, usually £30 per hour plus materials. Obviously, we don't charge for small tweaks.
1. Gift certificates must be redeemed at our website, toward the purchase of products listed in Lux Tenebrae.com's online catalogue.
2. The gift certificate cannot be used to pay for Luxtenebrae.com gift certificates.
3. The gift certificate has a cash redemption value of 0.001p and is not transferable or assignable.
4. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift certificate account.
5. If the order exceeds the amount of the gift certificate, the balance must be paid by credit or debit card, cash or Paypal.
6. Gift certificates and unused portions of gift certificates expire one year from the date of issue, where permissible under applicable law.

This Agreement and any contract for the purchase of goods shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of England and Wales.
