MEASURING YOURSELF FOR A BESPOKE SKIRT

If you don't relish the idea of measuring at home, then we can offer
you a PERSONAL FITTING CONSULTATION BY
APPOINTMENT for £60. You can make an appointment to come to
the studio, have Jules take all your measurements with time to chat through
your needs, and look through the leather and corsets we have here.
You can expect a skirt to take only one fitting by post, during which
time you will be able to fine tune the design and alter the whole pattern.
This also means that it's not the end of the world if the measurements
are slightly off, as we will discover it at the fitting stage, and it's
easy to put right.

Measuring yourself for a bespoke skirt
1. Measure your waist.
2. Measure down from waist to knee.
3. Measure down from waist to floor.
4. To get the curve of your hips correct for the pattern take measurements
around your body 3" , 4" and 5" down from waist.
5. Measurement your hips at their fullest and how far from your waist
this is.
6. How long do you want the skirt?
7. What width around the bottom hem? (for minis and pencil skirts)
8. Where you would like the waist of your skirt to start, and measure
around your body at this point.
