It's especially important to get a perfect fit with a leather
corset, for both comfort and aesthetic reasons. Our bodies differ by as much as six inches in length between waist and
bust, and a factory manufacturer can't accommodate this kind of range. So, an off-the-peg corset
from a shop usually fits poorly and will feel restrictive,
with aches and pains where the bones cut in to you, and all sorts of strange
wrinkles and bulges where skin spills over the top and bottom edges. In
contrast, a made to measure leather corset is wonderfully comfortable
to wear, giving a lovely feeling of support as it hugs your every contour.
All Lux Tenebrae corsets have a reinforced outer, a hidden inner layer
of corset coutil, and luxurious satin lining, flexi steel front and back
busk, and are fully boned with spiral steels throughout every one to two
inches, with hand placed eyelet grommets and washers, waist tape and double
or triple stitched seams. All eyelets, washers and zips have a sewn in protector so the metal work never touches your skin. The corsets are available with contrast
edging and/or lacing at no extra charge.

FITTING CONSULTATION BY APPOINTMENT for a small fee.

We will then email you a copy of the measurements we will need you to take (they are also over on the right hand menu). We can then make your personal
corset pattern to your own specification. You choose the level of waist
reduction, the length of the corset and even the size of the gap at the
back.
We only buy the very best materials and use the best craftsmanship for
each individual corset, with the finest kid dress glove leather, or softest lambskin, each in a full range of
colours and the same corset maker working on
your corset from beginning to end we can offer you the flexibility and
personal service you need to get a perfect fitting custom corset that

Zip front suitable for modest to regular lacing,
tight lacers are best going for a busk front.
