Measuring yourself for a bespoke skirt
Firstly, tie a ribbon or similar around your waist so that you can measure from there.
We work in both cms and inches, so please choose the one that suits you best. If you have no preference, then in inches please.
1. What is your waist measurement?
2. Measure down from waist to knee.
3. Measure down from waist to bottom of skirt.
4. To get the curve of your hips correct for the pattern take measurements
around your body 3" and 5" down from waist
5. Measurement your hips at their fullest and how far from your waist
this is.
6. Where you would like the waist of your skirt to start (can be on or below your natural waist), and measure
around your body at this point.
7. What width around the bottom hem? (for minis and pencil skirts)
